Are you really Ready to Receive What You Are Asking?

Are you really Ready to Receive What You Are Asking?

That Is When Devī Becomes the Channel Through Which She Flows

We often mistake the silence of the Devī for indifference. We cry out, "Why have you not answered?" when our lives remain stagnant despite our fervent prayers. But there is a deeper and more empowering truth behind all this: The answer is always present; it is the receptacle that is missing. The rain falls abundantly, but if the pot is turned upside down, it gathers nothing.

This brings us to the spiritual concept of Adhikara, which is competence, or the capacity to hold. Devi, the Great Mother, is not a whimsical granter of wishes who picks favourites. She is Shakti, the raw, kinetic current of existence. She is the very energy that powers the sun and the breath in your lungs. By Her nature, She seeks to flow.

A river does not want to be contained; it wants to run to the ocean. Similarly, Grace is always seeking an outlet to pour upon. However, energy requires a conductor to flow. You cannot run high-voltage electricity through a flimsy wire; it will burn. You cannot pour the wisdom of the ages into a mind cluttered with petty grievances; it will spill.

When we ask for "strength," but our nervous system is addicted to comfort, we are not ready. When we ask for "truth," but our identity is built on comfortable lies, we are not ready. To ask is easy; to be capable of receiving, is the work of a lifetime. This is why some lives transform quietly. Not because less was given, but because more was held.

The moment you are truly ready, when your internal wiring is strong enough to handle the voltage, the dynamic changes instantly. Devi ceases to be an external deity you are negotiating with. Instead, She becomes the very channel through which the result flows. She enters your voice, your hands, and your decisions. The separation between the "asker" and the "giver" dissolves.

Therefore, the ultimate spiritual practice is not to shout louder at the heavens, but to expand the vessel of the self. Do not ask, "When will She give it to me?" Ask instead, "Am I built to hold what I am asking for?" When you have cleansed yourself, Her Grace For when the vessel is wide, and the channel is clear, Her flow is inevitable.
