SECTION 1 – PERSONAL INFORMATION AND CONSENT

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates. When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no. We continually aim to improve our service and gather suggestions to improve our range offered, the data collected is also used to analyse demographic and profile data about our users and their activity on our website. We may indulge you in taking up & completing optional online surveys, in which, the consumer’s information and demographic information (like zip code, age, or income level) will be asked. We use this data to tailor your online experience, providing you with content that we think you might be interested in & we would endeavour to display content according to your shopping and browsing preferences.

SECTION 2 - DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service. Company is the recipient of all the Personal Information and shall exercise reasonable commercial endeavours for the prevention of the Personal Information provided by the Users. We may enable access of the Users’ information to the Company Entities, joint ventures, agents or third parties for the purposes of the services provided by them or for any other marketing related activity undertaken by or on behalf of the Company Entities and/or its joint ventures. We will ensure on a reasonable commercial effort basis that the third parties and agents employed by us for the purposes of the Website are under an obligation to maintain confidentiality with respect to the Personal Information provided by the Users and to use it strictly for the purposes of the Website only. Company may disclose your Personal Information to such extent as the Company may deem necessary for you to enter into commercial transactions with other users of the Website.

SECTION 3 – WEBSITE AND PAYMENT STANDARDS

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. Payment: If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. SECTION 4 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND BUSINESS TRANSFERS

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service. When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements. Google analytics: Our store uses Google Analytics to help us learn about who visits our site and what pages are being looked at. Company may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of its assets, including your Personal Information, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation or sale of assets or in the event of bankruptcy. Should such a sale or transfer occur, we will ensure that the Personal Information You have provided through the Website is stored and used by the transferee in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy.

If You decide at any time that You no longer wish to receive such communications from us, please follow the unsubscribe instructions provided in any of the communications. Please note that once we receive your request to opt-out, it may take an additional period of time for it to become effective. 

Deleting Your Information: If You wish to have the Personal Information that You have provided to us deleted, you can always do so by sending a request to us on the e-mail id of our Customer Services department provided at the bottom of this page. You may note that deletion of certain Personal Information may lead to cancellation of your registration with the Website and your access to certain features of the Website Security Company uses ordinary industry standard technology designed to help keep your Personal Information safe. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information You put in before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorised access. We will also ensure on a reasonable commercial effort basis that any agent or third party that we employ complies with the same security standards as us for the protection of your Personal Information. If You are located outside India and choose to provide information to us, please be aware that the Company keeps or transfers information to India and processes it there. Although We strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data while it is being transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you. 

Phishing: Identity theft and the practice currently known as phishing are of great concern to the Company. Safeguarding information to help protect You from identity theft is a top priority. We do not and will not, at any time, request your credit card information or national identification numbers in a non-secure or unsolicited e-mail or telephone communication.

SECTION 8 - SMS/MMS MOBILE MESSAGING MARKETING PROGRAM

We respect your privacy. We will only use information you provide through the Program to transmit your mobile messages and respond to you, if necessary. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing information with platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors who assist us in the delivery of mobile messages.

Additionally, if you are a European resident, we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. SHIPPING AND REFUND POLICY

Domestic Shipping

We only partner with reliable courier companies who have excellent TAT and quality standards. Orders are shipped within 2 to 3 working days (except for special events and pre-Launch). Post pick-up, subject to Courier Company norms, the delivery usually takes between 4 to 10 working days (based on your location). For special events and Pre-launch deliveries, we will send you separate delivery dates and timelines on email. We take utmost care and have streamlined processes to ensure that your products are delivered speedily to you. However, we are not liable for any delays in delivery by the Courier Company or on account of any factors that cannot be controlled by ‘Ushijo.co’ or Ushij Online Services LLP. We shall strive to ensure timely delivery of your order within the estimated time as mentioned in the order confirmation. 

We ensure to use the best packaging and courier service to deliver the product to you. Although in rare, unlikely events that delivery is not possible for any reasons beyond our control, including but not limited to poor courier services in delivery area, inaccessibility of delivery area, force major events, we shall keep you informed of such inability to deliver and cancel your order, followed by complete refund.

Payments

All transactions are processed in Indian Rupees (INR). 

For your security, we are currently not offering a Cash On Delivery (COD) service for your orders, but we provide multiple convenient and secure payment options via our Payments Gateway and is secured with the high levels of transaction security.

Cancellations

We will be able to accept a cancellation request any time before the order is processed or shipped. In case your credit card/debit card/bank account was already charged for the order, we shall process the refund immediately following cancellation of order, subject to deductions for any banking transaction charges incurred by us pursuant to your order and its cancellation.

Unfortunately, we cannot cancel orders once the order is processed or the shipment is out of our store for delivery. No cancellations will be accepted on orders during any special campaign, events or pre-launch or any customised products which has customer name or sign etc. 

Returns & Refunds Policy

We are proud that all our shipments go through 3 levels of packaging and 2 levels of inspection before dispatch. The likelihood of damage is very small. ‘Ushijo.co’ or Ushij Online Services LLP offers a replacement guarantee for all products ordered online. Products will be replaced only in case of a manufacturing defect or damage due to transportation. For Returns & Refunds please write to us on business@ushijo.com within 7 days of order delivery and we will be more than happy to assist.
